My application has a status of: Pending Payment and Documentation Verifications, what does this mean?

Your application has been received, with a unique application number assigned to it. It is now under review of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, and decisions about your application will be made shortly, in which you will receive a notification to your email address.

Are there any additional fees or documents required after my license has been granted?

This is dependent on the license; you may need to submit quarterly/monthly reports an pay an annual rental fee.

How would I know when to renew my license?

You will receive a renewal notification email, 1 month prior to when you license needs to be renewed. On your license summary page in the Portal, a renewal application link will be available for you to complete the process.
